Our Verdict
Overall, the performance in our standard testing of the PureZone Mini doesn’t compare to the larger air purifiers for obvious reasons – it’s smaller, has a smaller filter, and less power. It’s not designed to be used in a 200sf room. It is designed for a small area such as a car, desktop, etc. It’s likely more ideally suited to a 100sf room or smaller. That said, it does perform well, even under less-than-ideal conditions.
Its USB connection plugs into most cars with USB ports and will fit nicely in a car cup holder. As far as a car option is concerned, this is a better design than the others that use the cigarette lighter because many of those are hidden inside of the console in today’s cars. This is a good option for getting smoke smells or the odor of smelly gym clothes out of your car. It could work on a desktop, but for a small office I’d recommend a larger option such as the Megawise or Koios. I would consider this a good option for a car air purifier, or small space such as a powder room, pantry or closet.
